ITA All-American Champions Crowned in Cary
Cary, NC — The 2025 ITA All-American Championships came to a close in Cary this weekend, showcasing some of the nation’s top collegiate talent and crowning new national champions in both singles and doubles.
Glozman Delivers for Stanford
Stanford’s Valerie Glozman etched her name into program history with a straight-sets win over Texas sophomore Carmen Andreea Herea in the women’s singles final. The sophomore standout secured a 6-2, 6-3 victory, using her speed and slicing ability to control the match after a tight opening game.
With the win, Glozman became the first Stanford player to claim the ITA All-American singles title since 2010—ending a 15-year drought and signaling a resurgence for the Cardinal women’s program.
Wisconsin Duo Breaks Through
In doubles, Wisconsin made history. Maria Sholokhova and Lucie Urbanova became the first Badger pair to capture the ITA All-American Doubles Championship, defeating Oklahoma’s Roisin Gilheany and Gloriana Nahum 6-3, 6-3.
The win also cements Sholokhova’s place as a program pioneer. Last year, she became Wisconsin’s first ITA All-American singles champion in Cary. Now, with Urbanova, she’s delivered back-to-back titles for the Badgers across singles and doubles.
