MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — South Carolina State defeated Florida A&M 31-13 in the 2026 Orange Blossom Classic at Hard Rock Stadium.
South Carolina State (2-0) finished with 479 yards of total offense, including 292 on the ground. Running back Mason Pickett-Hicks was named Orange Blossom Classic MVP after rushing for a career-high 210 yards and two touchdowns on 17 carries.
Florida A&M (1-1) opened the scoring with a 30-yard field goal before South Carolina State answered with 21 consecutive points to take a 21-6 lead into halftime. The Rattlers’ lone touchdown came on Justin Bostic’s 80-yard interception return in the third quarter.
The Bulldogs held FAMU to 161 total yards and minus-1 rushing yard in the win.
